Zenoss (also known as Zenoss Core) is a network management platform based on the Zope application server. Monitoring 250-500 devices requires a four core CPU, 8 GB of memory, and a 300 GB, 10K RPM hard drive.
Monitoring 500-1000 devices requires an eight core CPU, 16 GB of memory, and a 300 GB, 10K RPM hard drive.
And finally, monitoring 1000-2000 devices requires an eight core CPU, 64 GB of memory, and a 300 GB, 10K RPM hard drive.
