Virtual Private Servers (VPSes)

If you need the flexibility of a dedicated server, but not the resources, VPSes are perfect.

VirtuozzoVirtual Private Servers (VPSes) offer all the benefits of a dedicated server, your own dedicated resources, root access, the ability to install and modify packages, etc. at an affordable price. VPSes are private, isolated environments on our high end systems that utilize a minimum of dual 2.66ghz Xeon processors and 6 GB of RAM along with the speed and redundancy of having the hard drives in a RAID array.

Steadfast Networks utilizes HSPComplete to manage all VPS acounts which gives you much greater control and a higher level of service than is provided by most other providers. As soon as your order is placed the installation of your VPS begins, and you should be all set to go within an hour or less. HSPComplete also allows you to install additional software, upgrade your VPS, add IPs, and update your billing/contact information without needing to go through our support channels.

At Steadfast Networks, we provide you with even more features and flexibility by giving you a fully managed VPS (fully managed means: providing software upgrades/updates/patches, assistance with control panels, troubleshooting and problem resolution for any pre-installed software) and the option of chosing from several control panels. With Steadfast Networks you are able to easily backup and restore you content, restart, and restore your VPS to its original state all via your full-featured control panel. You can get your VPS clean, with no control panel, otherwise Plesk, Interworx, and cPanel are available for only $5 a month more. The Plesk Power Pack is available as well for an extra $5 per month while Fantastico and Installatron are available on cPanel accounts for $1.50 and $2.00 a month respectively. All VPSes come with 3 IPs, each IP beyond that may be purchased right from the control panel for $1 per month, and 10 Mbit/sec of dedicated network capacity.

VirtuozzoVirtuozzo creates multiple isolated Virtual Private Servers (VPSes) on a single physical server to share hardware, licenses and management effort with maximum efficiency. Each VPS performs and executes exactly like a stand-alone server for its users and applications as it can be rebooted independently and has its own root access, users, IP addresses, memory, processes, files, applications, system libraries and configuration files. IMPORTANT: Please note that managing a VPS is roughly the same as managing a dedicated server. We require that all VPS users have some understanding of Linux so that we can better serve all of our users. If you do need assistance in certain areas, we will be more than happy to provide the managed services we offer, but our support staff will assume you have a basic understanding of the services, concepts, commands, etc. For the less experienced, VPSes can serve as a great learning experience, allowing you to operate in a dedicated server environment without the cost and with less risk. If you are looking for a VPS to serve as a reliable location for your web sites and other projects, we highly recommend that you be experienced in server management.
