MediaWiki Cloud Hosting System Requirements

MediaWiki 1.18.1 is available for Steadfast Networks Cloud Hosting users. Since the software is web-based, all operating systems are supported and the requirements are fairly simple:

• Minimum 256MB RAM
• Minimum 50MB storage (more will be required for busier sites or sites that allow uploads)
• Web Servcr Software - Apache is most commonly used, other software types also supported
• PHP - 5.2.3 or higher (NOTE: PHP 5.3.1 is not currently supported by MediaWiki)
• Database Server (any one of the following) - MySQL.Cloud.hosting.php">MySQL 4.0 or higher, PostgreSQL 8.1 or higher, SQLite 3, Oracle
