Steadfast Networks is the only H-Sphere based shared hosting provider to utilize LiteSpeed, making this a unique advantage that we offer over any other provider. LiteSpeed is a web server suite used to replace Apache and offers many advantages over Apache. The only real issue is that the Enterprise Edition, required for shared hosting, is not free. Even though there is additional cost involved, we have not raised our pricing. We feel that the increased speed, reliability, and security offered to our customers will be worth it in the long run as it will increase customer satisfaction and reduce support loads. LiteSpeed is fully compatible with Apache .htaccess files and still offers all the features you would expect from Apache, thus customers should not see any disadvantages from the change, but there are many advantages such as:
