Interworx Cloud and Dedicated Server Hosting
A flexible web hosting and clustering control panel.
What is InterWorx Hosting?
The InterWorx Control Panel is a web hosting control panel available on Steadfast Cloud hosting and Linux-based dedicated server that lets you expand web hosting options by building a load balanced cluster of servers. InterWorx has two main parts, NodeWorx and SiteWorx.
SiteWorx serves website administrators, while NodeWorx was made for Resellers and system administrators. Both are rich in features, including:
User Management: InterWorx helps you to create and manage NodeWorx users, Resellers, SiteWorx accounts (website accounts), SSH users, SiteWorx login users, email users, and FTP users.
Domain Management: You can create and manage subdomains, pointer domains, and secondary domains on SiteWorx accounts sharing the account resources (multi-domain hosting).
Package/Resource Management: Reseller and SiteWorx packages can both be created and managed.
System Services Management: Our InterWorx hosting service allows you to administer the typical functions of an Apache Web Server, MySQL database server, FTP server, NFS server, DNS server (even zone editing), and email server, as well as view PHP info, administer a firewall, and set a Service Integrity Monitor so that numerous services will automatically restart if a failure occurs.
Ruby on Rails Management: Ruby on Rails Applications can be created and managed; you can install, update, and remove Ruby Gems; and youíll have the ability to change environments, restart, and execute RAKE commands.
Web Directory Management: You'll have front end directory access, Fileman file manager will be integrated, and you can create and manage home directories and FTP users.
In addition, our InterWorx hosting services will provide you with the ability to backup, restore, and import a wide variety of related accounts, domains, websites, and databases, as well as view site statistics, and manage themes and software updates.
Get InterWorx from Steadfast Networks
Steadfast Networks offers InterWorx Cloud hosting as a pre-installed
template on CentOS 5 and 6. Set up an InterWorx Virtual Machine by going to
Template Sets, then CentOS 5 or 6 and selecting the correct InterWorx x64
option or click here for complete instructions. Interworx can also be pre-installed on any CentOS based dedicated server.
Before you can use InterWorx on our Cloud hosting, however, you need to get a license by emailing sales@steadfast.net or opening a ticket with our sales department. Licenses are each $8/month. After getting your license, access https://YOURIP:2443/nodeworx/ and enter your license key, administrator username, and password.
We also offer dedicated InterWorx servers. You can get up to 35 domains at no additional charge, and if you need more, we offer unlimited domains as well as cluster support for only $10/month. We can also sell pre-configured High Availability Interworx clusters. InterWorx clustering means having 2 or more computers (or nodes) working together on the same task to increase the serverís power. When traffic becomes too much for those nodes, you simply add more to handle it. We prefer InterWorx clustering because its load balancer divides traffic equally between nodes, and managing the cluster is a breeze with its Cluster Manager. We offer a number of InterWorx cluster configurations designed for your needs at a fixed monthly cost.
