Dedicated Servers with Full Management

A fully managed system for when uptime is critical.

Certified CarbonFree All of our dedicated servers come with our 100% network uptime SLA and are located in our own redundant data center using a completely carbon neutral infrastructure in downtown Chicago, IL. In addition, all servers come with our InterNAP optimized Performance Network utilizing Level(3), Savvis, nLayer, and TeliaSonera bandwidth and supplemented with local peering agreements, including direct Comcast peering. The network is perfect for game servers, VoIP or other latency sensitive applications, while offering high throughput and reliability, perfect for web hosting, file downloads, etc. all at an affordable price. If do not need a fully managed solution check out our dedicated servers with basic management.

Basically any version of Linux or FreeBSD can be installed on our dedicated servers, some need to be specifically requested, but we highly recommend CentOS 5 and if you need a control panel we highly recommend Interworx. Windows 2003/2008 Web Edition can also be installed for an additional $20 a month. Plesk (10 domain license), Interworx (35 domain license), and DirectAdmin control panels can be installed for free on our dedicated servers. Larger licenses for Plesk and Interworx can also be installed for additional fees as well as cPanel, which you can find at the bottom of this page. All dedicated servers come standard with 1 usable IP, but up to 8 additional IPv4 IPs can be requested at no additional charge by emailing us at ips@steadfast.net. All IP allocations require proper ARIN justification. Additional RAM, hard drives, and IPs can also be purchased. Bandwidth overages are billed at $0.50 per GB.

To clarify, the "proactive response to service/server outage" means that we will monitor the services on your system and take whatever action is necessary to resume those services. No intervention on your part is required, which helps to maintain your server uptime even when you're not available.

In stock systems will be setup within 12 hours of payment being processed, but making hardware modifications may prevent us from delivering a system within this time frame. If you need a server other than what is listed please email sales as we have several other systems still in stock.

Dedicated Server Offerings with Full Management

  1. A major problem is when the service/application is completely unresponsive or unusable. Any further assistance will need to count towards system administration time. Pre-installed software includes the control panel and any other software installed by the control panel such as web, database, and email services.
  2. System Administration includes almost any services not listed, such as optimizing Apache, assisting with/repairing PHP scripts, transferring data, etc. System administration does not include script coding and we do not guarantee being able to resolve issues with 3rd party or other unsupported software. Additional system administration is billed at $80 an hour. All system administration is calculated in 30 minute increments.
  3. Please note that all IP allocations must be justified. To help reduce the risk of abuse, IPs used for proxies, email marketing, large scale virtual or web hosting and SEO may be subject to additional verification and analysis. We reserve the right to charge additionally for IP space based on the risk factors involved in the justification provided.
