Some questions!

Hi,

I am currently looking for another hosting company to host my website (a memorial site for a former family member).

Basically to cut a long story short, I lost all the data from our database (speeches, posts etc) due to a phpBB misconfiguration, what was worst was the hosting company did not have any backups. That pissed me off enormously considering that I signed up to their services for 2 years.

So I'm wondering if Steadfast Networks does weekly/daily backups? I did do backups manually but unfortunately the hard disk that I had crashed.

Secondly, what forums does SN offer? I'm currently running phpBB version 2 but am interested in SMF.

Since I'm running a semi blog/memorial site, I don't have a lot of traffic. I could really host it at a free hosting site (but I'm not sure about their reliability and credibility). I don't care for e-mails (the old site didn't even work),

I'm just looking for a cheap enough hosting company that is reputable andcan also help with backup (I don't demand this but it really helps if there is some rollback feature for database data). I don't resell or run a business. Thanks!

Yes, we do do daily backups of all shared hosting systems.

We offer phpBB2, SM Forum, and XMB Forum through EasyApp, for easy installation, but you can feel free to install any forum software you wish.
