    Default VPS Aluminum

Hi I am interested in the VPS "Aluminum VPS" but I have some questions before purchasing it:

    - Can I upgrade the 5 GB of space if I need more later?
    - Can I upgrade easily the VPS server to a dedicated server?
    - Can I install software that I want? And got process in background? For example, some daemons, my own version of imagemagick, using triggers in mysql...
    - Is the 100 GB Data transfer monthly for upload+download or what?
    - What is the upload speed for transfering files in our ftp?
    - What means "Unmanaged - No Control Panels"? So I cann't install my own desired software?

Thanks for all and waiting for responses!

You cannot individually upgrade the disk space on a VPS, you would need to upgrade to the next plan.

Yes, you can migrate from a VPS to a dedicated server by just copying over the necessary information, etc. It gets more complicated if you install a lot of additional software though, as that would need to all be reinstalled.

Yes, you can install basically whatever software you wish, as long as it doesn't require a kernel module.

Yes, our data transfer allowances are always in in + out.

There is more than ample bandwidth available and the VPS servers themselves are on gigabit ports. The source system would almost certainly be the bottleneck for uploads.

You can install whatever software you want, but the VPS does not come with any of our control panel options and is fully unmanaged, in that we will not support any of the software on the VPS, but can still assist with overall issues.
