Default adding drives / hardware upgrades after initial setup

Can you add drives to a server later at the same one-time rate as to a new server as listed on the order form, or no?

Rates change every so often for drives, as well as availability for a type of drive, so I don't think we could guarantee a price or size.

Do talk with sales though and see if they'd be willing to guarantee one.

We can install drives at a monthly or one-time fee based on the list pricing and availability at the time of the upgrade, not of your initial order.

Generally, over time, pricing on drives and available capacities will result in higher end drives for lower prices, so you would probably not want to be locked into your original pricing for those items.

Thanks very much Josh, Karl, and Kevin for the quick responses. And sorry for asking more of a question than I actually had meant to ask. Having the 6 hotswap bays is a major advantage I think to the 2u dedicated servers here, but I just wanted to double check that if I didn't fill them initially I could add drives later without a huge additional charge per drive or such. Being able to add drives at any time for the then-current monthly or one-time pricing is perfect.

The datacenter where I currently have my dedicated servers is getting more and more automated and less hands on with the servers so adding a single drive after the initial order is $200 more expensive than adding it when the server was first built if you pay a one-time fee... which is one of the reasons I'm looking at getting started here instead of another server there.
