I'd have to say it failed epically. They invited the entire world to download from them at the exact same time, and didn't do any scaling. They're site was unreachable for the better part of the whole day. Then, when it came back up, the ff3 version linked to v2. excellent job firefox

I heard about that. I was working out of the office until about 3pm EST and when I went to download it was downloading at like 20 KB/s. I canceled it and tried again 30 secs later and it downloaded in like 30 secs.

I've learned years ago that if I wanted Firefox to get it from a third-party site.
