DDoS Protection on Steadfast

Hello,

I´ve heard from a friend that at this Service you have a very good DDoS Protection so i decided to host my site here.

Today I´ve received a message from somebody who wants me to delete some posts on my page otherwise he will start a DDoS Attackt. The Attackers are from 1337-crew.to.

He said that if he starts the attack he will send 1tb traffic per hour to my site.

So i did what he want from me because i dont think that your able to block an Attack like this.

Now my question: How good is the DDoS Protection here? Are you able to block an Attack like this?

We strive here at Steadfast to provide the best possible DDoS protection for our customers. But at the same time, we can't stress enough that the best defense possible is to not encourage yourself to be a target of a DDoS attack.

Man this is a terrible blackmailing from them. Those cyber criminals are out of control. They may use a botnet to perform such an attack which would be bad for the whole service provider network.
