Question number of domains per server (shared hosting)

i used a reverse dns domain tool to check how many domains were hosted on the shared server im on, and the results were kinda surprising.

Found over 1527 domains hosted on the same web server as 216.86.146.11.

    *edit*

according to domaintools, the servers hosting 873 domains.

im a newbie so is this standard for a shared hosting provider? will this in any way effect how the site is indexed by google?

    thanks

    *edit*

did some research apparently its pretty standard considering the hosting account allows unlimited domains.

It's my understanding that SEO apply at the domain level and not how many domains are on a server.

To my understanding you won't be penalized or anything on the search engine. However if you can get your domain on different c-classes your domain is looked at more favorably by the search engine.
