    Default Corporate Blog

    Steadfast,

I would like to see some TLC paid to the corporate blog (steadfast.net/blog). The template looks cookie cutter. I purchased service solely from the image portrayed on steadfast.net and from testimonials on the forum. Thankfully, I didn't see the blog before pulling the trigger. I must say that Steadfast Networks has had the best and fastest responding technical support that I have ever experienced from any company. I also love H-SPHERE.
It wouldn't take much effort to change the layout on the blog to match the rest of the website. I good & consistent theme makes things more professional, don't you think? One other pet peeve of mine are blog authors that say 'I' within articles and not identifying themselves within the blog/article. I guess there's two options there.

Um... as long as the support is good and the servers keep running I could care less about a blog.

I suppose one could spend time focusing on the blog, polishing it up, or I suppose one could be assisting customers, improving their hosting product, and finding new complementary services that would ultimately benefit a customer and possibly help generate additional income while reducing overall costs in the long run...

ROFL! Are you serious? I'm surprised to get this response.

As an eCommerce company, creating a professional, cohesive and consistent website could only help in generating additional income through more sales revenue. Passing off designing a blog as a waste of time and not as a good tactic to generate sales makes no sense, especially since the blog is actively being used as a sales/marketing tool.
Also, I think it's great that Steadfast Networks appears to be focused on assisting customers, improving their hosting product, and finding new complementary services, but are these long term tactics the only tactics Steadfast will employ to generate income?
Finally, I'm not implying that Steadfast needs to pull one of its engineers to do some work on the blog template. Is there no one there dedicated to sales/marketing tactics or UI?

Perhaps as little as inserting the Steadfast Networks logo at the top like in the forum to at least brand the blog as its own?
