What's with all the spam lately.

Can bot actually sign up even with that enter the letters from the picture thing? Or do people actually take the time to sign up and post that crap?

Neither would surprise me, but I bet it's the bot figuring out a way in.

It has been reaching annoying levels and we are looking into ways to stop it, but from what 'm seeing, people are just signing up to SPAM the forum, thus there likely isn't much we can do about it...

This may be rather annoying to good posters, but maybe you can implement a mod that requires new users' posts from being displayed until a forum moderator gives them the rights to post. Meaning they can make their post it just will not show up until it has been approved and then from that point on all their post will show up normally.
