    Default 100 Mbps IP limit?

I'm working with a partner who has some rack space at Steadfast, however one of the boxes I'm managing cannot push over 100Mbps.

The box in question is handling VoIP traffic, and once we get around 100Mbps, we start to see packet loss.

The box itself has a confirmed GigE connection to other computers on the same switch (wget binary file == 350 Mbps) but when I try to download the steadfast test file testfile.steadfast.com I am only able to pull about 80 Mbps.

My question is, is there any IP based limits like a managed firewall or some sort that steadfast has in place that would limit a single IPs ip traffic throughput?

    Default

No, we do not have any firewalls in place by default. We do offer a couple managed firewall solutions, but those will entail an additional fee.

Note: Our test file is only on a 100 Mbit/sec port.
