    Default VPS Setup Time..

Just bought a VPS, to which I am quite excited about.. I thought I read somewhere that the rough setup time for a Virtual Private Sever was an hour. It's been nearly a day here with nothing. Is this normal?

I wouldn't call that normal, I'd send in a ticket asking what's going on. My dedicated server was set up in less than an hour, and that was at night, so you should definitely have your vps by now.

Sent in a ticket, got a bazillion emails back about my order and server information. Just have to wait to get my interworx license so I can start using interworx and resist changing things in parallels. One thing that I could use more of is timeframes. Like when a domain propagates they usually say wait between 24-72 hours (even though it's usually half a day). It'll help new people like me have a rough estimate if normal is a few minutes or a few days... that way I can cue tech support if something hasn't happened.

    by the way, thanks.

VPS accounts are setup immediately on order. If your account is not it means it has been held up for verification, etc. If it ever happens that a VPS account is not setup within 15 minutes or so contact us and we'll see what the hold-up is.
