Default Domain names not in LOCKED status

    Hello,

I saw all of Steadfast's domain names (steadfast.net, nozonenet.com, steadfastnetworks, etc) not in LOCKED status.

People said LOCK the domain names will increase the domain security.

But why Steadfast's domain NOT LOCKED. Is there any special purpose or need ?

    Please advice.

    Thank you and warm regards

Locking domains prevents them from being transferred or updated without first unlocking them, but you can't transfer a domain without approval from the registrant anyway, and if you can get into the control panel where the domain is registered to change its information, you can also unlock it yourself, so I don't think this really adds much security on the whole.
