Default More on Raw Log Files

How are the log files organised? I looks like there is one .gz file per day, kept only for 6 days.

Any chance of monthly log files or something like that?

    Default 6 Day Log Files

I finally got an answer by submitting a ticket (it is very quiet in here recently).

Yes, log files are kept for 1 week. Log files can only be retained for the default duration. If you wanted to keep them longer you could either download then regularly via FTP or write a cron script that runs every day to back up the logs to another location.

Can anyone give me advice on how to setup a cron script to copy my log files once a week please? I am a Unix 'virgin' having always worked with Windows servers in the past.
