    Default /default shows H-Sphere page

I recently joined Steadfast as part of an exodus from another popular hosting company that gone way downhill recently (hint: five-letter-word that ends with 5), and so far, so good, but I have a question. I have a reseller account, and on my client accounts, it seems that /default is automatically going to some kind of H-Sphere default page. I sometimes use that URL, so is there some way to wrest control back for /default and /default/whatever/might/go/here ?

    Thanks, Jared

    Default

    Jared,

Are you sure this happens only for some accounts? /default/ is a standard alias that H-Sphere sets up, similar to /icons/ from standard Apache configurations. It allows the default error documents and other pages to be accessible from all web sites.

Unfortunately, it's not really possible to replace these because Apache's mod_alias directives may only be used in virtualhosts or server config files.

    Default

Thanks for your reply. So that sucks...I'll now have to change the URLs on some of my sites that I'm migrating over that expect /default to be able to work.
