Internet Radio with high upload bandwidth issue

Hi,

Using iTunes and Internet Radio - 1.FM - 80s channel. I am using a MAC with OSx Tiger.

I find that my download rate ( i.e. what the radio station is sending me ) is as expected of 10 - 15KB/s.

Issue is that my upload speed ( what I'm sending back ) goes straight up to 150 - 180KB/s ?? Please can someone explain why this is, and what date is being sent back to the internet Radio site via iTunes ?

I have done external broadband speed checks checks and the MAC network screen is correctly displaying upload and download speeds to me.

If I quite iTunes, the upload speed immediately reduces.

Sorry - solved.

Been thinking about this over a coffee.

Remembered that I have remote WiFi Speakers about the house with itunes. When I deselected multiple speakers in itunes, the upload data rate reduces to normal levels.

At least I know that none of my data is being sent out of the internet.
