Question about having a dedicated IP

I currently have the basic plan on the shared webhosting section.

I have noticed my site is sometimes unresponsive and slow for about a minute at a time and then it goes back to normal. This happens very frequently.

By upgrading to the "Gold Plan" on the shared hosting section, with the "Dedicated IP," will this decrease these sort of issues, where I have a sometimes unresponsive and slow loading?

Upgrading your shared hosting plan will not impact the performance of the service. Please open a support ticket when your site is slow and we can try to track down the cause to make adjustments accordingly.
