    Default inquiry

Does Horde have a function where we can control the address book of each user. Can we control the 'from' and 'to' line? Like I can't send an email to someone who is not in my address book.

Thank you and hoping for your quick response.

    Default Good Question...

    Hi there,

It sounds like what you're looking for isn't possible through Horde. You may want to direct more specific requests to their community here:

Controlling what email addresses you can send mail to simply isn't a standard feature of most webmail clients. Among other things, even if you block the address via Horde, the user will continue to have POP3/IMAP access.

Your best bet for achieving this is a VPS using a custom-written IMAP webmail client. I'm unaware of any application available that will do that. I'd recommend simply using a php application with no text "to" field, replaced by a dropdown with acceptable addresses.
