phpBB2 => phpBB3 conversion script

I'm trying to convert a phpBB2 board to phpBB3.

The conversion script times out however.

This is mentioned in the users guide that it's a distinct possibility, and it mentions that it may be possible to get the host to allow the script to actually complete.

What's required for this? Is it something that can be done at all? Something I can do, or does it need to be done by Steadfast?

Most likely php memory limits. Try contacting steadfast and see what they suggest.
