Default anybody can't send email to hotmail ?

I signed up a few days ago for a dedicated server, so far I'm loving it and really enjoy the 5-star technical support I receive.

I have one big pending issue where I can't send mails to hotmail users.
no non deliveries, it doesn't go in the spam folder, nothing it just vanishes.

I checked my reverse dns, a record, spf. everything is now good and still no go.
I can send without problems to yahoo, gmail, and the rest of the world.

when I telnet mail.hotmail.com 25, I can get my mail to queue for delivery but it doesn't make it to the recipient

Anybody else in the same situation ? any fix at all?

    Default hotmail

have you checked to see if your ip has been blacklisted? It can take some doing but they can remove you from their blacklist if you request.

    good luck,

I can for sure check, but the weirdest of all things, is that the same email (a registration email, based of a template) will reach the recipient in 50% of cases...
