    Default squirrelmail

    any chance squirrelmail can be made available as a webmail client option?

    squirrelmail is by far and away my preferred webmail client. and it's important enough to me that having access to it could be a make or break decision when i'm deciding whether or not to open a steadfast account for a client.

    We've considered SquirrelMail, but I haven't had a chance to really look into its installation yet. It's not included with H-Sphere, so we'd have to set it up manually.

    We currently offer three webmail clients as can be seen at http://mail.steadfast.net

    thanks for pointing that out. i was however already aware of the three you offered. good choices btw, the exact webmail clients that occupy my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions for my favorite webmail clients. none of those three however have managed to knock squirrelmail from the top spot as my favorite. thus my request.

    I can't make any guarantees, but I will try to look into it sometime in the next couple weeks. So long as there are no complications, implementation should be possible shortly thereafter.

    If you head over to that link again there's a link to squirrelmail now. If you have any issues with it, let us know!

    thanks Kevin. i'll be putting it through some paces soon.

    btw, you'll probably want to modify the default webpage for domains hosted here. the default webpage has this listing and the modification would be to add squirrelmail:

    Code:
    Email Tools

        * RoundCube Webmail
        * Horde Webmail
        * SQWebMail
        * Change Your Email Password

    It looks like as long as we keep the script updated regularly it should be okay. I check for updates to roundcube and squirrelmail periodically since they're not maintained by our upstream.

    I'm working on new pages similar to the webmail selection page for each of the web servers to remove our branding from them. (Something resellers will most likely appreciate.) Once those are done, there will no longer be individual webmail links on the page, but instead a link to the webmail page.
