    Default Reverse DNS

    I have a problem where many forum registration e-mails are bounced because my BIND9 server doesn't appear to be providing reverse DNS for my IP addresses.

    What should I add to named.conf so that a reverse dns lookup on any of my IP addresses will return the vps*.nozonenet.com hostname?

    A quick search on the SW Soft forums reveals that it's you guys that have to set up the PTR record on ns*.nozonenet.com. Is this true? I'll submit a support ticket if it is, or if I don't get a reply by later tonight.

    This is indeed the case. Please submit a ticket to the Reverse DNS department or email dns[-at-]steadfastnetworks.com. Please include the IPs you need entries setup for and the hostnames you want these setup as.
