    Default Cheap Digg Proof Hosting

So i'm on a 4.95$ a month plan and it seems to resist nicely to having an article on the digg frontpage. Over 500 diggs so far .

Thanks for making a note of this for us! We can credit the LiteSpeed web server for gracefully handling the operation of the server under a high level of traffic.

We're pleased to see our servers handle these types of real world tests well.

    Could you provide more info?
CMS you're using, amount of visitors went from Digg per 24 hours, caching settings (if any), etc...

I believe, is what he was referring to.

    [root@web5 ~]# uptime
    22:36:59 up 92 days, 14:46, 2 users, load average: 0.68, 0.78, 0.91

A bit late in the rush, but Web5 seems to be doing well! Have you moved to the new MySQL server?

I'm still on the old mysql server.
I've enabled drupal's caching though so the amount of sql requests should have been low, or lower.

About 16k visits yesterday according to google analytics.

And yes that's the article. I'm going to add steadfast's mini banner on the right asap and make a post with pictures proving this + submitting it to digg. It won't make it to frontpage (that was pure freaking luck) but hey who knows.

    Default Suspend you?

I wouldn't worry! I maintain a fairly close watch on shared server CPU usage. You're spiking PHP every once in a while, but are still by no means the heaviest user.

    [root@web5 ~]# uptime
    09:43:10 up 95 days, 1:53, 2 users, load average: 1.56, 2.25, 1.85

If you ever do have problems, particularly heavy MySQL usage, just let us know to switch you over.
