    Default Subdomains?

I'd like to setup a subdomain to my already existing forums located at <mydomain>/phpBB3. I would like this to be forums.<mydomain>.com,
however when I create a new subdomain in cpanel it does not give me the option to assign that new subdomain to an existing filestructure and it automatically creates a new one. Is it possible to apply the new subdomain to a pre-existing filestructure?

    Any help would be appreciated.

You can remove the directory it creates and make a symlink to your current directory. There is a good tutorial on symlinks here: http://students.estrellamountain.edu...p/symlinks.htm

thanks for the advice. I actually ended up just creating the subdomain and reinstalling my forum software there. (it was a fresh install on the other directory to begin with so no real loss. )

I'll check out the symlnks information for future reference. Thanks for your reply.
