How to restore control panel in start menu?

There is no control panel in start menu.I am unable to uninstall few software.please help.

What version of Windows are you running?

well You have to do the following:
right click the taskbar ----> properties
select the start menu tab, than select customize.
Now select the Advanced tab
In Start Menu items:
Control Panel --> select "Display as a Link".
click ok & again apply than ok

check control panel in start Menu.
