Problem reseller panel
Hi, I've used whm panel before but not the one that steadfast has. I am having difficulty setting up my first plan. I am just setting up a basic unix plan.
When I submit the create plan screen I get a message saying I need to set up a DNS zone.
I therefore set up a DNS zone. Under DNS manager I can see the zone and have allowed hosting on it - but I still get the same error with the create plan function. Any ideas? I've read all the documentation - I believe I have done everything correctly and I have wasted hours on this
My other issue is I don't really want to use custom DNS zones -I just want to use steadfast's own DNS (as I have done at Hostgator for years)- is there a way to do that?

The DNS zone allows you to specify custom branded names for each of our web servers, database servers, etc and use instant access domain aliases and other DNS related features. You must create a DNS zone, but you can skip using those features and supply a bogus zone. If you are going to supply a bogus zone, you should use the TLD ".invalid" so that you don't risk interfering with someone else's intent to use another domain.
You can host a site on the domain you use for your DNS zone, so if that is part of what deters you from using this configuration, we can help you with that process.
