View Full Version : Manually Renewing Or Making A Payment
is there anyway i make a manual credit card payment through the account managers interface?
or increase my credit limit by adding funds?
thanks
Hi,
I presume you're referring to the shared hosting HSphere control panel. There's no formal way to do this, though you should never need to. If for some reason (your card is about to expire, etc) it's necessary just email billing@steadfast.net and we can do so manually.
Thanks!
Brad
Just to clarify, it generally isn't necessary, as if you have a card on file it will be billed automatically when needed.

This is a big problem, if you register CC first and on the second year decide to pay by PayPal. It is impossible to change HSphere interface to view PayPal instead of CC.
I left CC as a payment form and added funds by PayPal.
And one more suggestion to Steadfast now - would be great to add an option about account expiring. I remembered my account would expire in 2 days. CC was expired, so the automatic renewal without prompting the client before 60-30 days is not an option.
What would happen if you have an expired CC and are spending your holiday somewhere in Spain?

It is not impossible to change, you just need to go to the Billing Info section, the same place you edit your credit card information, and change it to PayPal. it will then send you a PayPal URL with the invoice and not charge your credit card.
Instead of notifying in advance, as the system we're using doesn't really have provisions for that, we give you a two weeks grace period. That way, if there is an issue with your payment method, you have two weeks to work it out before your account is suspended.
