To what degree are Steadfast's virtual private and dedicated servers managed? I.e., are they unmanaged, meaning maintaining security and resolving technical issues is up to me, or does Steadfast provide a degree of support in those areas?

Hi,

In general we'll maintain your core services SOAP, etc regardless of management level. Managed services will provide monitoring/active response, and help with things generally considered your responsibility (we can make configuration changes, proactively help security, examine log files, etc)...and generally provide more comprehensive in-depth support.

It is pretty much outlined on the individual pages, the basic and fully managed services list the features on the respective pages and then for VPSes it is defined as: providing software upgrades/updates/patches as requested, assistance with control panels, troubleshooting and problem resolution for any pre-installed software
