Does bandwidth to/from the backup server count against my allocated bandwidth?

Technically, yes it does, as there is really no way to tell at the switch port, where your bandwidth is measured, where the data is going. To compensate for this though, if you are billed for overages, simply contact our sales department and we will work with you to manually remove any overages due to sending data to the backup systems.
