I'm currently working on a pligg-style site where users post, vote on, and discuss upcoming events / things to do in Montreal. I want to transfer my domain to steadfast.net, but I have to wait 30 days before I can transfer from my original registrant. Can I set up a site in the meantime and then transfer my domain in a month?

We do offer .ca domain registrations/transfers for $15.95 a year, though you can also just move the hosting to us and keep your current domain registrar.
