SSL Needed for CRE Loaded?

Hello,

I'm planning to use the CRE Loaded shopping cart for one of my clients. There is a mention that SSL is needed.

We are not planning to accept credit cards, but will be using PayPal as our secure processor.

Do we need SSL for this application? Are there any other security issues I should be aware of?

Technically/Legally I would say you don't need it, but since it's and ecom app your site visitors may be wary if their "my account" and other more sensitive areas are not protected.
