Thought I had VZ4 figured out, but apparently not.
Just some background info :
2 servers, on the same VLAN
All IPs are vlan-routed
1 server is the master, the other the slave in the "group"
Default VZ install (auto-install)
Now, one range of IPs works on the master server, but SSH login is extremely slow (but the main nodes are quick as lightning). Once logged in though, it works smoothly enough. DNS resolution is instant. That's issue #1 I'm scratching my head about. Whenever I experienced slow SSH logins, it was ALWAYS dns-related. This time it isn't. resolv.conf has 6 nameservers in there (openDNS, global, steadfast)
A second problem, is a range of IPs will just refuse to connect. I've tried to put them on both boxes, with no luck.
And one last one... the slave server shows the 10.x IP as default.. can't remove it either. The same exact install doesn't show the 10.x IP on the master server. Not sure this causes much of a problem, since the migrated containers with working IPs work fine when migrated. Just a nuisance I suppose
I'm really at a loss here, and with Parallels closed on weekends, I'd like to get the debugging out of the way before the week starts. If anyone has any tips or ideas, please do share ;)
