Radria info: radria.sqlfusion.com and radria.sqlfusion.com/documentation/radria_installation --- Before I attempt to install Radria I want to make sure it can work with my shared hosting account (on web5). I'm a noob re installing anything other than with 'easyapps'.

The Radria install page says Radria needs MySQL+FTP+GD 2.0+Curl+ZIP+GETTEXT - Can I install GD 2.0+Curl+ZIP+GETTEXT? I have not googled for these yet - but I assume I can find install instructions with these packages.

Re mySql - it says "The SiteManager needs high level database credential when creating new projects. It needs to be able to create a new database and setup new users in your mysql database server." I read the KB on "configure a database user with "dba" access" - is this the same as what Radria needs?

Thanks

A typica shared hosting account should have MySQL, FTP, GD. As for everything else not sure.

DBA access is not sufficent enough. The way it sounds like it needs to have root access to be able to create and configure new users accordingly.

These should already all be available, mostly through PHP.

We cannot provide this to you. You must create databases and users using the control panel and this software cannot be allowed to create new databases or users directly. It would pose a major security issue for other users of the MySQL server. You would need to host your MySQL remotely on a VPS or Dedicated server to be able to do these things.
