I'm kinda interested in steadfast, but I'm big on 24/7 support. I've been waiting for that support icon to turn to online, but no luck. Was interested in possibly hosting with steadfast, but now I question that thought.

You could submit a ticket or call them? Every time I submit ticket I got reply within 5-10 minutes.

We do not offer tech support over live chat. Tech support is available 24/7 phone phone, email, and our ticket system.

yea just give them a ring, you'll have an actual voice on the line in less than 30 seconds usually, whether it be 2am or 2pm

Having live online tech support is something of a pain in dedicated environments... what if a tech has to go into the datacenter to physically look at your server, does (s)he just leave the chat open for 10 minutes with nothing going on?

I would personally rather have someone email me with a reply and have it show up on my Blackberry or alert me on my desktop than keep a web browser window open for awhile

Of course, most things can be solved in a few minutes... I am talking more complex stuff
