The mission of Charaka Center for Integrative Medicine (http://www.charakamedicine.com) is to empower individuals to actively create and maintain their own health, rather than depending on healthcare organizations to treat diseases and their symptoms. Through the formation of a doctor-patient partnership, and a comprehensive medical assessment of the whole person, Charaka Medicine provides patients with the information, resources and support needed to take control of their health, through the integration of conventional western medicine and complementary and alternative modalities with evidence-based research demonstrating effectiveness.
