Can't post URL

I would like to be able to post my site to your Showcase, but it won't let me until I make 5 posts. Seems counter productive since it is your new hosting clients who might want to list their sites there.

It's more or less to keep people from joining just to spam a URL. Alot of forums are like this.

It sucks for us the real people who wish to post our site, but it keeps the forum clean :)

Spambots LOVE forums

Have you seen the number of 'FREE WOW POWERLEVELING' that has shown up on this thing...

I know a few people who manage much larger forums and they spend way too much time weeding out spam... even with all their mechanisms to stop it
