I've been through the documentation/knowledgebase, but I'm unable to find a clear answer to my questions on email accounts and mail domain aliases. Any help on the following would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming the following:
example.com is the primary domain
example.net is an alias of example.com with a mail domain alias setup

1. Is it correct that each email account for example.com will be accessible as example.net as well?

2. Will the user be able to log in and check email with the alias user@example.net rather than the primary account user@example.com?

3. Is there a way to create an email alias with the domain alias (i.e. username@example.net as an alias for user@example.com) without creating the user account for example.com?

I think that's about it. Again, thanks for any help.

Sorry. Yes on HSphere, shared hosting. I've answered my own questions by hitting the HSphere forms.

1. Yes.

2. Yes.

3. No. This would need to be seperate Mail Services for the primary and aliased domains, not a Mail domain alias. Unfortunately, with a Mail domain alias, you have little/no control over email forwards or aliases for the aliased domain.

Seems you got all those right. Thank you for posting the answers on our forum instead of just dropping it when you found the answer.

No problem.

Anyone know if an email account setup as a "Mail Alias" on the primary domain (i.e. alias@example.com Stores To user@example.com) is valid on the domain alias (i.e. alias@example.net) as well?
