i dont have complicated installs any more. in the good old days, we ran managed firewalls (of all shapes & sizes) from a colo for our customers. service from the colo guys was always in high demand.
fast forward to today and my needs are very simple - shared hosting so i can run a handful of self-hosted wordpress installs. while my problems arent remapping ports and doing load-balancing and command line configurations these days, a problem can still suck and it is absolutely WONDERFUL to be able to call a toll free number, hit 1 (1 mind you, not 6 or 7 or 8, but 1) and get through to tech support.
i consistently get a live, native, english speaking american on the phone in under 30 seconds.
i was experiencing some sluggishness on my blog and called. the guy looked at the server, told me that particular was fairly loaded, and told me he could switch it over to another machine immediately. like right now. within minutes it was done. amazing.
keep up the good work guys. i know it must be a pain to answer the phone but that is key for us little guys.
