mysql?

Is there a reason why the msyql and this forum is taking FOREVER to load? Im just wondering if its part of maintenance? The mysql had been taking so long to load for past few days/week lately.

I am not experiencing this, did you deploy a new firewall or similar during the period you experience the slow performance?

I have noticed from time to time that it loads slow, really slow, and I would assume its the database end since the rest of the site loads fine.

it has never been more than a slight delay for me though, and it defiantly wont be a firewall blocking it on my end, I have not had one on this computer since I reformatted it over 2 years ago

Nope.. no new firewall or such... Its still doing it once in awhile.. especially the DB

You should write down the times when you experience your site (and it's db) to perform slowly and then report this to support.

I think that Karl mentioned that the same database-server also drives this forum their support-system etc, and I have not noticed any major slowdowns on either of these personally.

Yeah, I haven't noted any slowdowns myself either, and we use the same MySQL server all day long. I'm not saying it isn't happening, just asking if you can log the times and or make any note of the incidents so we can look into this further.
