SSHD Login Attempts and Blocking IPs

Hello -

Looking through my logwatch emails, I've occasionally noticed 100s or even thousands of login attempts via SSHD, usually from Asia.

Is it worth my time to block their IPs through the Interworx Firewall? Or will that simply make them more determined?

Maybe you could have a look at BFD (http://www.rfxnetworks.com/bfd.php)?!

Just install BFD and change your server's SSH port to another one.
