I'm trying to host a domain on a different IP than my primary and am not sure if I'm doing it right. First, I added the IPs to my server. They show up under "IP Addresses" with a Subnet mask of 255.255.255.255. But my primary has a mask of 255.255.255.192. Is that right? Anyway, I can ping those IPs and they respond.
Then, I changed the IP of my domain to one of the new IPs. This looks right in Plesk. It says the "Domain has physical hosting on" that new IP.
So now, when I type in that IP in my browser, show I see that domain? It's giving me the Plesk Server Default page. Is this the right behavior? When I do a "Site Preview" in Plesk, I see the right content.
I haven't transferred the actual domain name to Steadfast yet so I'm just test with the IP.
thanks.
