Hi
Because your reseller offer is very good (200 gb bandwith/month) I want to move all my sites on steadfastnetworks.com network
I would like to know if I will can move all my files using ssh (server to server) and all mysql data bases using the same method(server to server)
I ask you if it's possible this method(server to server ) because I have some GB to move and aprox 200mb for mysql data base.
And one more question:
The mysql size is included in the reseller disk space calculation?

Thank you

Regards

You will not be able to get SSH access directly to the MySQL server, but you would be able to import .sql files using your SSH access to the web server.

You will be able to use SSH and SFTP to transfer sites, but the SSH access is enabled on a per-account basis. You won't be able to have one SSH login that gives you access to all accounts in your reseller at once.

The reseller disk quota includes all email, MySQL databases, and web site disk usage in the overall usage calculation.

2 questions pls:
I will can set ssh account for my customers using my reseller cpanel or I must request ssh for every customer account from you?
Do you use dual xeon servers? Please tell me more details about reseller servers and mysql servers
What cpanel do you use on your servers? cpanel, plesk, ensim, webmin?

Hello,

Your customers will be able to request SSH access, provided you set that feature up in your plans. We then have to approve each account ourselves.

Our web servers use 2.66 Dual Xeons with 4GB of RAM, and hard drives in RAID 5. Our database server is a Dual Opteron 242 with 4GB of RAM, and SCSI hard drives in RAID 1.

All of our shared hosting accounts are on H-Sphere.

I'm also interested in starting a reseller account.

Moving sites/domains from my present steadfast-account into this new reseller-account won't pose a problem if I understand correctly.

I have one more question though :

If I read correctly I can use my own logo at the top of the user CP, but will the mysql database location still reveal mysql.steadfast.net or will it be mysql.myaccount.be ?

This should work either way for you. I believe it will use your domain name in the control panel.
