How to point domain name to IP address?

This is sort of silly: I've just registered a domain name (with Go Daddy) but I don't know how to point it at my server's IP address. I'd prefer not to run my own name server - I'd like to use Steadfast's. Is something that I can do myself, or do I have to ask Karl to do it?

To (possibly) answer my own question: I think can use Go Daddy's name servers rather than Steadfasts'.

That's what I had intended originally, but I didn't understand their terminology. Apparently if you specify the domain name as 'parked' in their system, you can specify the IP address. (I thought 'parked' referred to a domain name being held but not used, i.e. not pointing to an IP address).

If I'm wrong about this (which is quite possible), please let me know.

That sounds about right. You can use godaddy's parking features, or we can set you up with an account to use DNS hosting services on our own system if you prefer. If you have a VPS, you can manage the DNS through HSPComplete, otherwise we have a plan for dedicated and colocation customers to use. Just contact sales for signup information in that case.
