what is the best way 2 log visitors ips incase someone is stalking your site or is messing with you on your site

If you enable your logs from your control panel, you can review the access log to see what IP addresses visitors are coming from and which pages they are accessing, however if you receive a lot of visitors these logs will be very large, so finding specific information might be difficult.
