Data Center Construction Report - Dec. 30

OK, I fell behind again.  Here is the update from Dec. 30.  The holidays have slowed things down a little, but progress is still being made.

Basement Construction Progress Summary:
Existing Electrical Room: Temporary transformer installed and wired; awaiting ComEd confirmation for shutdown.
Boiler Room: Demo of existing boilers and related piping in-progress.

7th Floor Construction Progress Summary:
Demolition: Complete.
Walls: Complete.
Doors: Doors & frames installed except double door and suite entry door.
Floors: Completed except for wax.
Ceilings: Complete.
Voice/Data Security: Boxes installed, wiring in-progress
Millwork/Plumbing: Sink & appliances complete. Plumbing complete including icemaker water line.

8th Floor Construction Progress Summary:
Demolition: Complete.
Walls: Partition framing complete – gypsum board not installed
Floors: Raised floor laid-out over the underlayment
Ceilings: Uni-strut threaded rod installation in-progress.
Electrical: Roughing in-progress for switching, lights, voice/data and security,
Plumbing: Plumbing tie to 7th floor break area sink complete.
